Energy Economist

Tuesdays we usually spend highlighting some interesting articles we have discovered such as last weeks information on oil and gas. This week however I though I would highlight an interesting person; Peter Terzakian.  Peter is the Chief Energy Economist at ARC Financial and  has written two books “A Thousand Barrels a Second” and “The End of Energy Obesity” .  I had the pleasure meeting Peter and seeing him lecture in Edmonton a few years ago on the drivers of oil sales and price levels.

What I like about Peter is that he focuses on the changes of the energy landscape due to specific drivers and also utilizes historical fact. Actually he is considered an energy historian as well as a back ground as geophysicist and economist .  As important as statistics are it is good to also look for important information drivers on where the energy market is trending, Peter is a good source of information.
